Dam just when everything is coming right and together we are hit with another infection, well that is what I think anyway.
On Friday we had polygam in hospital and all of a sudden Jason started with a runny tummy (not his usual chronic diarrhoea). His poos were just starting to get solid as well. His tummy was not right on Friday and Saturday and 4am Sunday morning he started with the gagging again. He was having temperatures throughout the day and I thought we were headed back to Dr. P but we managed to just keep fluids in. No food on Sunday at all but on Sunday night we managed to start his milk. I did dose him up with ponado for the temperatures every 4 hours and gave him a dose of vallergan which always helped with the gagging. This morning he woke up much better. Still very pale and weak but we did well with his eating today and seem to be back on track. Hopefully this was just a short infection of some sort and we will get back the weight that we have lost!!
Unfortunately we missed therapies today as well but I have re-scheduled for Friday. With Jason all his infections seem to be gut infections and gut infections cause him to get diarrhoea, gagging and vomiting and stop eating. Luckily he would still drink water, thank goodness!!
Anyway I am confident he will be able to go back to school and me work tomorrow. Just a little bump in the road!!
Polygam went well. Always a long day but we are done for another 3 weeks. The hospital was so sweet they awarded Jason with a "bravery" certificate and a medal. Well Jason wore the medal the whole day and was so loving all the attention!!
